Kestamid-HS ® is Polikim's type of Kestamid ® with increased heat

resistance. The heat-stabilizing additives contained in it significantly

increase the resistance to thermal aging. Compared to other types of

extruded and cast polyamide, it exhibits longer service life at use

temperatures of 80°C and above. The temperature of continuous use

is increased by 15-30°C compared to Kestamid ® and reaches the range

of 125-140°C. It can be safely used in many applications requiring heat

resistance due to its short term use temperature reaching 185-200°C.

In addition to its heat resistance, it has the same technical characteristics

as Kestamid ® . The special additives contained in it make it possible

to maintain other technical properties while improving thermal performance.

The standard color of Kestamid-HS ® is blue. If desired, it can be made in different colors.

On request, it is also possible to produce a UV-resistant version.
